Astronomers discovered an extraordinary quaser named j0529 4341 , the brightest object ever seen in the universe on August 31 2024.
. Detected by the European southern observatory s very large telescope ( Vlt) this quasar is remarkable for its extreme Brighteness and rapid expansion.
Quasars which are luminous centres of distant galaxies powered by super massive blacks holes emit immense light and radiation as surrounding gas and dust fall into them.

Perseverance Rover Began to climb to jezero crater rim.
Nasa 's perseverance rover began a crucial new phase of it's mission on Mars by starting it's ascent on the top of jezero crater Rim on August 27 2024.
. After spending over 3 years exploring the crater floor the rover is now climbing 1000 feet (305) m to the crater s rim.
. This mission is significant because the rock samples perseverance collects could offer insight into Mars climate history and the personality of past life on the planet.
Since landing in 2021 the rover has gathered 22 rock core samples from the base of jezero crater which has once a lakebed.
